Protrafo supplied 8 oil-type distribution transformers for Vattenfall's 45 MW solar park, completing the grid connection on schedule despite tight project timelines.
Each of the 8 units was rated at 3.15 MVA, 20 kV and delivered pre-tested and ready for installation. The project required tight coordination between Protrafo, the EPC contractor, and the grid operator to meet the energization deadline.
All transformers were manufactured to meet ECODESIGN Tier 2 efficiency requirements and were tested to IEC 60076 standards before leaving our facility. Hermetically sealed tank construction ensures long-term outdoor reliability without regular maintenance.
This project demonstrates Protrafo's ability to deliver multi-unit renewable energy grid connections on time, with proven technical quality and full regulatory compliance.
