What Will You Do?

As Sales Manager EU at Protrafo, you are responsible for generating new revenue and managing and expanding existing customer relationships within the energy sector. Your focus is on selling our distribution and power transformers & services (250 kVA up to 20 MVA), while expanding our client base. You translate customer needs into concrete proposals, know how to structure sales processes effectively, and act as a reliable business partner contributing to long-term client relationships.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Actively identify and approach potential customers in the energy and industrial sectors. Build and maintain customer relationships and expand your network while negotiating deals effectively. Develop partnerships further, create commercial proposals that align with client needs, monitor and analyse market developments and trends, and identify and approach new opportunities. Achieve sales targets and present/report results clearly. Continuously contribute to the improvement of sales strategies and processes.

Requirements

  • Excellent command of Dutch, German, and English, both spoken and written.
  • Completed bachelor’s degree, preferably in a commercial or technical field.
  • Minimum of 6 years' experience in sales within a technical or industrial environment.
  • Proven track record in client engagement and achieving sales goals.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of the energy market, energy transition, and technical products such as transformers.
  • Proactive, results-oriented, and customer-focused mindset.

What Will You Do?

As an Energy Technician / Transformer Mechanic at Protrafo, you will carry out inspection and maintenance work on distribution and power transformers. You will work both at our company location in Emmen and on various project sites. This is a new position within Protrafo in close collaboration with one of our partners, giving you the freedom to help shape and optimize the role together with your trainer.
